Coordinator for campus programs & traditions

Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Coordinator for Campus Programs & Traditions in the Department of Student Engagement.
This position is part of the team responsible for all operational aspects of comprehensive and vibrant campus programs and traditions designed to promote personal growth, community, belonging and enhance student persistence and success.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Responsible for providing advising, training and support for the Campus Activities Board (CAB).
· Responsible for the coordination, creation, development, implementation and administration of comprehensive campus programming in conjunction with the staff of the Student Involvement and Leadership unit.
· Assist with the execution of existing and developing campus-wide signature programs and traditions, including homecoming, half-time activities during athletic events, Founder’s Week, Teal Tuesdays, Holiday Lighting and College Colors Day.
· Assist with the administrative responsibilities of the unit including: ensuring fiscal responsibility, effective planning, effective use of resources, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and University policies and procedures.
· Steer the promotion and marketing of programming efforts through digital outlets including Coastal Connection, and other social platforms.
· Assist with the production of marketing materials for all events and programs in collaboration with the campus marketing and communications office.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree is required. Familiarity with agents, artists, organizations and resources related to campus programming (examples include NACA, APCA, ACUI) is preferred.

Student Services Program Coordinator I (CB65/61122253/FTE-S00948P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 04 . Salary range is $31,561.00 (minimum) to $44,977.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Evening and weekend hours will be required. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
