Job Description Summary
The search will remain open until the position has been filled. First consideration will be given to applications received by April 25, 2024. Applications received after April 25, 2024, may be reviewed depending on search progress and needs, but are not guaranteed full consideration.

Basic Function:
Responsible for fostering outreach and support programs, coordinating recruitment efforts, supporting student retention initiatives, managing the undergraduate research program, maintaining the center’s online presence, and providing data-driven reports on the center’s effectiveness.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate off-campus outreach and recruitment initiatives for the College of Engineering.
Oversee and direct the operations of the College’s Living Learning Community (ELLC).
Oversee and direct initiatives to improve student retention.
Coordinate operational activities of the College’s undergraduate research program.
Assist the Associate Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs with efforts that support student success.
Work occasionally on evenings and weekends as required.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform additional duties as required.

Licenses, Tools, and Equipment:

Personal computers, printers; spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software.
Required Qualifications
Required:
1. Master’s degree, or, Bachelor’s degree with a minimum two years of experience in business, counseling, education, college student personnel, engineering, or related field.
2. Demonstrated experience working with high school and/or undergraduate students.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, programs, and projects.
4. Demonstrated attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
5. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
6. Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills.
7. Demonstrated presentation skills.
8. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
1. Demonstrated experience working in programs that support student recruitment, retention, and academic success.
2. Demonstrated program administration experience in the areas of student life, student affairs, and/or academic affairs.
