Job Summary
Please note that this position is located in downtown Salt Lake City.
To support the mission of Weber State University and the Division of Online & Continuing Education (DOCE) through the administration of programs and courses offered through WSU’s Mountain West OSHA program and/or the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) program. This position will be housed at the Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (RMCOEH) building in downtown Salt Lake City (in a partnership between Weber State University and the University of Utah).
Responsibilities
Maintains current running programs/courses as well as creating new programs/courses and other related activities such as seminars and conferences under the direction of the Program Director. Activities may include, but are not limited to, doing the following: Reviews current programs, projects budgets, sets action plans, engages instructors, establishes registration procedures, markets the programs, assesses program outcomes, implements customer service strategies, manage and prepares course materials, do needs assessments and market analysis, and other responsibilities as necessary. This position will work closely with operational support to provide day-to-day coordination for programs and support the daily operation of the center. As responsibilities increase, there will be interactions with department chairs, directors, deans, business leaders, and other professionals in order to build new programs and grow existing ones.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), and two years related experience required. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.

Preferences
Required:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Two years experience in a closely related environment. Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree Bilingual English and Spanish Experience in a Continuing Education unit
