Franklin University has a full-time opening available for the position Coordinator, Center for Teaching Excellence.  Reporting to the Assistant Dean, Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE), this position offers operational and administrative support to the Center for Teaching Excellence and International Institute for Innovative Instruction. Serving as the primary contact for faculty support in CTE, the coordinator manages tasks such as faculty development scheduling, data and metrics tracking and reporting, and website management. Beyond handling enrollment and reporting for faculty development, the position involves coordinating instructional awards, as well as distributing certificates and badges. Additionally, the coordinator supervises a student worker and provides support for faculty-related events as required by the University.

This is a fast paced, hybrid role that would require in-person meetings on the Franklin University campus as needed versus set days each week.  Other duties may include serving on committees such as at faculty development, preparing and delivering presentations, and supporting global partnerships.  

An ideal candidate for this position will be technologically savvy and operations oriented, have superb communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and tracking capabilities, and have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.  Highly developed technical skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel are expected as the position involves data entry, sorting data, performing integrity checks and analytics of the data.  Prior experience with macros, Power BI and/or SQL would be a plus in this position.  Poised and professional customer service as well as 5 or more years of professional experience are also required.  The selected individual must be able to maintain confidentiality and be flexible to adjust to changing priorities of the department.
