Position Summary
The Office of Assessment and Evaluation is responsible for collecting and reporting data necessary to evaluate the performance of the Medical Degree curriculum and continuation of LCME accreditation. Within this office, The Assessment and Program Evaluation Coordinator primarily supports projects related to institutional and program evaluations. This position oversees data reporting from both quantitative and qualitative methods. The Assessment and Program Evaluation Coordinator’s primary role is to create, monitor, and report on evaluations using questionnaires and surveys to support these efforts. The position will provide mission-critical administrative support for all evaluation monitoring and reporting aspects necessary for accreditation and continuous quality improvement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience that
equates to four years.
Four years of progressively responsible, relevant experience of a
qualifying nature.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel or other related software.
Experience with basic evaluation and survey programs such as Excel,
SPSS, SurveyMonkey, or Qualtrics.
Ability to organize and document work effectively.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated organizational, project management and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and commit to teamwork and collaboration.
Written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail and
accuracy.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to multi-task and complete work within required timelines.
Computer and database proficiency.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in higher education.
Experience with accreditation.

Duties & Responsibilities
Builds, manages, and reports on institutional evaluations including student surveys, course evaluations, faculty evaluations, student evaluations, etc.
Plans and designs surveys/evaluations.
Maintains a schedule for timely generation and distribution of course, student, and faculty evaluations.
Implements and manages live surveys/evaluations, promptly resolving any inconsistencies or issues.
Ensures the high-quality output of all surveys/evaluations through constant review of survey-building processes and methodologies.
Works with the Director to analyze data collected in evaluations.
Prepares findings to review courses, clerkships, segments, and overall curriculum.
Prepares detailed reports and presentations for administrative and committee review.
Participates in institutional meetings, including the continuous quality improvement committee and other committees as appointed or directed.
Prepares materials and reports for accreditation purposes, ensuring that the curriculum meets the standards set by medical education accrediting bodies.
Coordinates with other Office of Assessment and Evaluation team members on evaluation and assessment projects as requested/assigned.
Proctors exams as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
