Job Description Summary:

To coordinate all aspects of Adult Education (AE) enrollment including recruitment, application, assessment, registration, data management, and events.

Description of Duties and Tasks

  • Coordinates the organization, preparation, technical set-up, and implementation of enrollment events (application, assessment, and registration), both major and off-site.

  • Coordinates applicant and student communications via email and text.

  • Works with Austin Community College (ACC) AE Admissions desks, AE staff and faculty, ACC at large, ACC AE partners, and the community to disseminate accurate information about AE enrollment.

  • Coordinates the training of AE Staff and Faculty, including Admissions Staff, to ensure enrollment processes are implemented correctly.

  • Provides virtual and face-to-face training to student-facing staff on student contact management and other systems as needed to ensure enrollment processes are implemented correctly and with excellent customer service.

  • Administers pre- and post- assessments (progress testing) required for grant compliance. Assists assessors as needed.

  • Represents ACC AE at ACC and community events to inform external and internal audiences about AE Division including enrollment processes. Works with advising supervisor to coordinate ACC Liaison Training for AE Division.

  • Establishes and maintains student referral systems with the Workforce Board and other partner organizations including off-site enrollment events as needed. Works with data management coordinator to establish systems and maintain data integrity.

  • Meets with key partnership personnel, provides reports and attendance data, and assists with logistical issues to off-campus sites.

  • Provides assistance to students, instructors, recruiter/advisors, supervisors, and partner agency staff with enrollment management issues.

  • Assists with enrollment and marketing of Workforce Solutions programs and services.

  • Researches, presents, and implements relevant emerging technologies to improve enrollment services to students and related software.

  • May oversee the work of and train front-desk enrollment hourly staff in CRM, communication technologies, and other job functions.

  • Assists with special projects.

  • Marketing communication tools such as Salesforce, Constant Contact, and Signal Vine.

 

Required Work Experience ​

  • Two years related work experience.

 

Preferred Work Experience ​

  • Experience with Workforce Solutions, Texas Workforce Commission, or workforce programs. 

 

Required Education ​

  • Bachelor's degree.

Special Requirements ​

  • Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation for local Austin area travel.

Other Preferred Qualifications ​

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in a standard office or similar environment.

  • Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds. Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

  • Work 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely (subject to change).

Salary Range

$46,162 - $57,702
