entrepreneurship, community engagement, and impact storytelling. This Sorenson Impact Methodology™ translates inspiration into impact and helps social entrepreneurs and organizations articulate, measure, and expand their impact. Students are integrated into all our work. We operate an impact investing practice for our own fund and as a manager of an outside fund; we annually host one of the largest gatherings in the impact space; we have a thriving Data, Policy and Performance Innovation advisory practice and a world-class creative shop.

Responsibilities

JOB OVERVIEW
Plans and implements activities of a program(s) within the Sorenson Impact Center, ensuring goals and objectives are in accordance with established criteria. Supports program(s) activities including research, content generation, data support, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversees daily program operations and coordinates program activities.
2. Develops and implements program goals and objectives.
3. Monitors program quality and effectiveness and researches improvement methods.
4. Assists with grant writing and other fundraising activities.
5. Advises staff, students and others regarding program issues.
6. Prepares reports on program status and progress for management and outside agencies.
7. Writes and edits program related publications and promotional or educational materials.
8. Oversees others who schedule meetings, seminars and other program related functions.
9. May assign, direct and review work of support staff and students.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus one year directly related experience or equivalency required (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
