General Description / Primary Purpose
The Coordinator Academic Support Services, under the direction of the Director, Crowley Center for Transportation and Logistics (CCTL), plays an integral role in the design, development, and implementation of CCTL and Coggin College of Business (CCB) processes and programs.

Essential Duties


Job Function
Budgeting & Travel
  • Assist the Center with budget preparation, tracking, and expense monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures and prepare financial reports as required.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reimbursements for faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
  • As needed, travel with the Transportation Logistics Society (TLS) student club on area site visits.

Events
  • Plan, coordinate, and evaluate CCTL and CCB events, including but not limited to, room reservations, supplies purchases, catering orders, event agenda and content.
  • Includes the extensive coordination of an annual Intermodal Academic Challenge case competition held on-site at UNF.

Liaison
  • Serve as a representative for CCTL and CCB, as needed at professional conferences and Jacksonville area business organizations.
  • Educate freshmen and sophomores on the T&L major.
  • Act as the staff advisor for the TLS club.

Other
  • Oversee maintenance of office equipment and ensure appropriate office supplies are available for the Center.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of the Center and the Dean’s Office.

This position requires either (a) Master’s degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization ; (b) Bachelor’s degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization and two years of experience directly related to the job functions; or (c ) 6 years of direct experience.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with budgeting, financial tracking software, and UNF systems (e.g. Workday) is a plus.
