|Summary of Duties||
Assists the AV-Ops manager with set up for banquet events in the Blackwell Inn, Pfahl Hall, Bistro 2110, and Fisher School of Business buildings. Assists with scheduling, hiring, and training all convention services staff. Reads banquet event orders and assists with making set up lists for staff. Attends meetings as directed by supervisors, including daily sheets meetings to ensure all event information is current and correct. Ensures that guests’ needs are met. Works alongside team and individually, assigns tasks and monitors progress to ensure proper advanced set up of banquet rooms, as well as, post banquet work including tear down, cleanup and resets. Assists in proper storage, maintenance, and inventory of all convention services equipment and supplies, keeping AV-Ops Manager and Banquet Manager informed of any equipment or supply needs in a timely manner. Provides support to the Banquet Department in all areas as needed.

High school diploma, equivalent certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; two years of experience in banquet and/or restaurant setting.
Previous supervisory experience or work experience in a leadership role desired.
