Summary of Essential Job Duties: 

The CME Program Administrator position involves collaborating with healthcare professionals from across the Health System to create both small and large-scale accredited medical education events and activities. This role demands strong project management skills and advanced communication abilities. 

  • Key responsibilities encompass overseeing logistical, budgetary, and event management aspects of these activities. The accredited programs can take various forms, including live, online, or recorded content, and may be held on-site, in the local Los Angeles area, or in different locations nationally or internationally. The position necessitates flexibility in working hours, which may involve early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as well as occasional travel. 
  • This is a hybrid position, with a minimum requirement of 25% of time spent on-site. 
  • Applicants should possess direct knowledge and hands-on experience in the realm of accreditation requirements for continuing education aimed at healthcare professionals. Familiarity with ACCME and Joint Accreditation requirements and standards is highly desirable. 
  • Experience in live event management and proficiency in working with CME management systems would be advantageous. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems (i.e. CloudCME)

Education

High School Diploma Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field (preferred) 

Licenses & Certifications:

Certifications such as Certified Healthcare CPD Professional (CHCP) or Certified Meeting Planner Preferred

Experience: 

A minimum of three years of project support experience specifically concentrated on accredited education is required.
