SUMMARY:

The role of this position is to perform the duties necessary to operate a market within New York State for the Continuing Education Department. Maintenance and operations includes, both administrative tasks and sales efforts for open enrollment courses at multiple locations. Responsible for Continuing Education sales calls, student enrollment, accounts receivables, and customer service. 


FUNCTIONS:

  • Sales calls to prospective student leads
  • Answer phone, greet, and direct perspective students and clients.
  • Review and maintain open-enrollment student registration, calls to student prospects, follow-up on program inquires, etc.
  • Prospecting for student 1st appointments to meet yearly enrollment goals.
  • Maintain student enrollment
  • Follow up with leads, appointments, and incoming students.
  • Develop and market materials to support sales efforts.
  • Generate training revenue at or exceed the annual goal.
  • Maintenance of sales activity records, sales reports, monthly budgets/expenses.
  • Participate in business and community organizations, trade shows, showcases and community events to actively market, partner and promote business.
  • Student and class data entry into contact management software and process payments.
  • Assist instructional staff in preparing hand-outs, classroom-based materials, supplies, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Produce and adjust yearly course schedule for Programs.
  • Assist in training new employees/instructors.
  • Textbook ordering.
  • Month End Reporting
  • Financial Analysis
  • Budget Creation and Management
  • Other Duties as Assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree Required, Bachelors Preferred
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communications skills, be adaptable, have the ability to empower others, and possess the necessary skills to impact decisions. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Ability to work in a busy office environment.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • 2 Years Sales Experience

Salary Range: $47,000 - $50,000 per year.

At Bryant & Stratton College, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Information about the total compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.
