 Supports the Athletics Compliance Office by processing compliance files and confidential National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), and other associated University reports. Assists in strategy development; ensures regulation adherence. Manages compliance monitoring. Monitors NCAA rules.

Essential Functions General Monitoring to Ensure Adherence to NCAA Rules The employee will be responsible for monitoring playing and practice seasons (i.e., season declarations, student-athlete countable and required hours (CARA & RARA), outside competition, Teamworks, etc.), student-athlete employment, student-athlete fee-for-lessons, student-athlete auto registrations, and promotional activities to ensure compliance with NCAA regulations. The incumbent will manage and monitor the recruiting wristband distribution process for home football games. In addition, the Compliance Coordinator will review Athletic Department donation requests and camps to ensure permissibility and consistency with NCAA rules, and the incumbent will monitor complimentary admissions for home football games and other high profile sports as assigned. Management of Compliance Databases The Compliance Coordinator will manage and administer the student-athlete compliance databases (JumpForward, PeopleSoft, etc.) and administer student-athlete, coach, and staff compliance forms as needed. Compliance Meetings and NCAA/ACC Requests The employee will assist with and attend compliance team meetings. The incumbent will also prepare and contribute to the ultimate submission of NCAA and ACC interpretation requests, waiver requests, and violation reports. File Management and Storage The individual will assist with the management and processing of compliance files and confidential NCAA, ACC, and University reports. The incumbent shall also perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance. Other Compliance Responsibilities The Compliance Coordinator will secure travel arrangements, track and coordinate record storage, complete required University forms (i.e., PantherExpress requisitions and expense reports), and perform other select administrative duties as assigned.
Physical Effort The position is mostly sedentary. The individual may be required to carry items or stand at Athletics events. Desk and computer work, telephone work, filing, and mailing.
