Position Summary

The Compliance Coordinator performs a wide variety of support activities to facilitate the compliance standards. Provides CNM students with support for coordinated entry programs. This position communicates with students regarding published CNM program compliance requirements. Maintains databases records of student progress and tracking of student records and related documents.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Advises students on external compliance requirements, provides pathways to achieve compliance, and works with external agencies to ensure student compliance for programs within academic school. Student advising includes one-on-one and group information workshops.
  • Reviews student records and coordinates notification of non-compliant students and appropriate program personnel to track compliance.
  • Assesses out of compliance risk exposure and determines needed action.
  • Monitors files for completeness and accuracy to ensure adherence to quality standards, accreditation requirements, and all other relevant records retention policies.
  • Performs data entry in, including but not limited to: NMDOH fingerprints, external compliance management systems and, internal clinical tracking systems.
  • Receives partially populated (student names and clinical schedule) rosters for each clinical site from clinical coordinators, adds necessary compliance information and submits the verified roster to the clinical partner within pre-determined timelines to ensure student placement.
  • Prepares information packets for new students based on program of study and presents any needed revisions to students during orientation sessions.
  • Collaborates with cashier, bookstore, and program administration to ensure timely and accurate refunds are processed for student program/course fees associated with compliance and coordinates any out of cycle compliance fees for students.
  • Works jointly and collaboratively with clinical coordinators regarding ongoing compliance standards for current and prospective CNM students.
  • Maintains databases student records, and related documentation.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; and two (2) years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified above

OR

  • Associate's degree; and four (4) years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified above

OR

  • High school diploma or GED; and six (6) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
