Community Outreach Coordinator -Senior

Job Summary:

Using independent judgement or under limited upervision, responsible for coordinating educational, cultural, or recreational services as part of the UT Health San Antonio South Central AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC) program in collaboration with the Center for Research to Advance Community Health (ReACH). The AETC project aims to provide HIV related training, education, and support to healthcare providers and staff throughout Central and South Texas. The AETC program is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and is recognized as the training arm of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program of HRSA, HIV/AIDS Bureau.

  Education:

Bachelor's degree in related field is required.

Experience:

Five (5) years related experience is required

Job Duties:

Assists in the planning and coordination of telementoring (ECHO) trainings, meetings, events, conferences, and other outreach activities to promote the UT Health San Antonio AETC program to potential stakeholders and learning partners.

  Supports educational and promotional content development to engage with a wide range of health professionals in Central and South Texas.

Maintains accurate and timely documentation of activities and outreach data for reporting purposes.

Coordinates implementation of telementoring opportunities and resources in partnership with the UT Health San Antonio ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) program outreach efforts and assists in the maintenance of contact database for partner sites.

  Serves as liaison between health organizations/health professionals and the UT Health San Antonio AETC program team.

  Performs all other duties as assigned.
