Community Outreach Coordinator-Senior

Job Summary:

This role is within the Center for Research to Advance Community Health (ReACH) and will be responsible for developing general public health-related communications, program promotion for ReACH grants. The ReACH Center prioritizes community engagement across the research continuum and strives improve health disparities and be responsive to community needs/priorities.  This individual will assist in the identification and relationship development of community partners. This role includes opportunities to learn about research programs, grant proposal development, and community engagement.  Ideal candidates will possess the ability to problem-solve, work under pressure and demonstrate dependability and dedication within the team as well as self-initiative and motivation in a positive manner.

Job Duties:

1.     Initiates the creation and development of outreach materials and social media channels that promote programs within the Center.

2.     Assists in identifying potential community partners and development of partner relationships.

3.     Oversees and maintains the ReACH Center community partner and engagement database and responsible for tracking website and social medis engagement.

4.     Supports ReACH leadership in the development of annual reports showcasing grants within the Center.

5.     Develops social media, website, and online resources to promote ReACH grants and public health-related communications.  

6.     Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in related field is required.

Experience:

Five (5) years of related experience is required. Applicants who are bilingual in Spanish and English are encouraged to apply.
