Community Engagement Services Principal Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Business Services Principal Professional for the Community Engagement Services (CES) and Events Core to develop and provide infrastructure support for a business line of community, workplace, other training and education programs, and events planning for the Department of Psychiatry (DOPsych). The position will require dedicated time for both CES and Events support. 

The successful candidate will focus on relationship management, development, and management of the internal infrastructure necessary to support CES programs, DOPsych events, and communications needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Marketing and promoting training and education programs.
• Coordination of the financial infrastructure in collaboration with the DOPsych Finance Core.
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, preparing documents to support training activities.
• Serve as an internal partner for the development of new programs. 
• Implementation of a process for requesting and executing events.
• Creation of a process for financial accounting of the revenue generated from these programs.
• Management of registration platforms and any required follow up with programs and/or faculty sponsoring the event.

Work Location:

Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule varying per week as needed for in-person meetings, events, and event planning activities.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s in business, business administration, finance, accounting, public administration, communications, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
  • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
• Three (3) years of professional business administration/operations or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing complex projects including strategic planning.
• Experience with financial reporting structures.
• Experience with public health education and promotion.
• Experience with branding or marketing including graphic design, mass email communication and/or advertising campaigns.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.
• Knowledgeable in the delivery of training and education programs.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range ) for this position has been established as $67,611- $86,001

The above salary range (or hiring range ) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
