Community Center Manager - Phoenix

Location: Phoenix, ARIZONA

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Housing and Auxiliary Services, the community center manager is responsible to develop and foster business through pro-active direct sales, marketing, appointment calls and tours of the Phoenix Community Center . Also develops strategic action plans for community center to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue, as well as maximize space utilization.

Identify areas of opportunity in performance and recommend tools and sales training to optimize performance. Assists the Sr. Director of Housing and Auxiliary Services with tracking the revenue goals of the community center, investigating financial variances, projecting year-end financial results, and budget management. Provides oversight for community center revenue contracts managed through the Phoenix Community Center.

 


Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
-Minimum 2 years of business or sales experience required.
-Ability to make and verify computations with accuracy, to compile data and prepare routine reports.
-Demonstrated ability to work in Excel, Office products, and with financial and business process software.
-Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills required with a strong attention to detail.
-Experience with Event Management, Audio Visual Needs, and Catering
-Ability to maintain confidentiality.
-Must demonstrate a strong Commitment to the Catholic, Jesuit mission of Creighton University
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge and experience in facilities management. Supervisory experience.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, organizational and planning skills, Interpersonal/human relations skills, written and verbal communication.
