Position Summary
Appointments to the faculty of The University of Alabama are based on the personnel requirements of the University’s academic programs and on the goal of achieving and maintaining excellence in its teaching, research, and service/academic citizenship activities.


Detailed Position Information
This position is for a twelve-month Clinical Educator/Speech-Language Pathologist Renewable Contract Assistant Professor (RCAP- non-tenure track) who will coordinate and conduct speech-language evaluations and intervention for children and adults and will provide supervision and guidance to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the Department of Communicative Disorders.


Minimum Qualifications
Required Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA certification, and ABESPA license (or immediate eligibility to apply for out of state of applicants


Preferred Qualifications
At least 5 years of position relevant clinical experience is preferred. Experience working within a university environment with students/faculty/staff and experience with augmentative and alternative communication technology, pediatric feeding disorder, and working with bilingual (Spanish-speaking) clients is preferred.
