Job Description

The Communications Specialist I, under general supervision, writes and edits content for news and research stories, annual reports, brochures, flyers, and newsletters for the College of Engineering and the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment.

Responsibilities:

  • Writes content for news and research stories, annual reports, brochures, flyers and newsletters for the College of Engineering and the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station.
  • Provides editing of news and research articles and marketing/communications collateral produced for the college.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience:

  • No prior experience required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in copywriting, editorial writing, website content management or social media content creation.
