Job Summary
Leads overall communication, office operations and marketing strategy for Career Development & Exploration. Develops, writes, and coordinates communications and publications that promote programs, services, and activities of Career Development & Exploration. Responsible for annual communication strategy, Community Relationship Management (CRM) system, and comprehensive website management. Creates branding, promotional materials and content, and social media oversight. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.
Three (3) years of experience in communications with experience in CRM system management, video, print, and email communication strategies. Professional experience creating, posting, and updating social media sites and blogs. Basic web production experience. Technology literacy across multiple creative and communication management platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Four (4) years of experience and oversight of communication strategy and decision making around communication.
Experience in hiring and supervision.
Experience in event planning or office operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Proficient in Adobe Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
Ability to collect, review and deliver analyses of web site and social media metrics.
Excellent creative, writing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships and work as an individual contributor and an effective team player, in addition to being highly organized, self-directed, and forward-thinking.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and decision-making abilities, prioritize workloads based on available resources.
Ability to develop strategy and initiatives that promote department growth and collaborations.
Strong organizational and excellent interpersonal skills and have a “Customer Focus” attitude and delivery.
Ability to work independently, quickly, and efficiently.
