Position Summary | This recruitment will be used to fill one Communications Assistant position for the Hatfield Marine Science Center (HMSC) at Oregon State University (OSU). The student worker assists with communications-related projects associated with activities at Oregon State University’s Hatfield Marine Science Center (HMSC). The student will create and disseminate photos, videos, blog posts, flyers, and stories about student and research activities on the HMSC campus. Some of the work will take place in the field as the student worker will accompany camps, classes, and research field activities to obtain photos, videos, and other content. |

Additional Required Qualifications |
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months. |
