The Northwest Center for Public Health Practice (NWCPHP) in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health, School of Public Health (SPH) has an outstanding opportunity for a part-time (50% FTE) Communications and Marketing Specialist to join their team.

Reporting to the Training and Outreach Manager, the Communications and Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing effective communications that advance NWCPHP’s work and support the Center’s strategic goals. This position works closely with NWCPHP staff, faculty, and practice partners to write, edit, and design communications materials to reach public health professionals, organizations, and students across a variety of formats and channels. This individual will ensure that NWCPHP branding is consistent throughout the promotional materials produced. To inform NWCPHP communications activities, this individual will also maintain an awareness of the communication activities of key internal and external partners such as SPH, other SPH departments, and public health organizations at the local, state, and national level. This position requires strong writing and project management skills, and proven experience in content strategy.
