JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Part time TBI Research Team member Job Description

Job description:  Undergraduate research technologist.  This position requires familiarity with and prior training on FDA-approved automated immunoassay devices for clinical laboratory use.  The candidate must have prior or ongoing Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) training and must have completed all IRB requirements for training to be involved in industry-sponsored translational research on human subjects.  Potential candidates must also be familiar with Universal Precautions for the use of biohazardous materials (human blood and body fluids).  This is a prn position that requires availability to work M-F from 5 pm to 1 am. This is not a permanent position, but duration of employment may be extended contingent on future funding.

CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS:

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here .
