The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy in the College of Education at the University of Texas at Austin periodically hires professional track full-time and part-time faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Higher Education Administration and Post-Secondary Policy Research.  Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis, though sometimes a year-long appointment can be made. Salary and title are dependent upon responsibilities and qualifications. These are non-tenure track positions.

Qualifications

A master's degree is required; doctoral degree is preferred for all positions and required for graduate teaching assignments. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and a student-centered approach to teaching that reflects our commitments to ensuring the success of all students, including those from linguistically and culturally diverse communities.
