POSTING TEXT

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will support advanced manufacturing/repair programs for sustainment activities.
The successful candidate will have experience in cold
spray/thermal spray repairs for aerospace parts.
The majority of work will support government customers, but some industry partners
will be supported as well.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical, materials, aerospace, or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with metal fabrication, manufacturing, and/or repair.
Working knowledge of cold spray/thermal spray processes.
2+ years experience with 3D CAD modeling software.
Ability to create, read and interpret models, technical drawings, and schematics.
Familiarity with UDRI policies and procedures.
Attention to detail.
Due to the nature of this position, US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with metal repair processes (weld repair, thermal spray, or equivalent).
Exposure to MRP/ERP software and processes.
Experience in a lab/industrial environment/adhering to lab policies and procedures.
