ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY:

The CodeBreakHERs is a weeklong cybersecurity summer camp from for young girls in Grade 8 to 12. It provides participants with hands on activities on a variety of topics including network security, error correcting codes, cryptography, hardware security. The CodeBreakHERs camp runs free of charge, and the 2024 edition is expected to have 40 participants. 

POSTION SUMMARY:

We are looking to hire a lead instructor for the cybersecurity summer camp "The CodeBreakHERs".  The camp will run June 24-June 28, 2024.

DUTIES:


The duties consist in reviewing the design of the activities, and delivering content to a cohort of 40 participants from Grade 8 to Grade 12.


 

QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, Adult Education, or equivalent field with one year of experience in a professional training position; or a Master's degree in the same field.

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years of experience teaching computer science or a related field at the middle school and high school level.

Special Requirements:

Employment with the camp requires you to complete a level two background check and finger printing. Failure to complete this requirement will be taken as a refusal of any job offer.
