Position Summary
Professional and Continuing Education(PACE) at the University of Memphis is in search of part-time CNA Instructor and Program Coordinator for a 10-week, noncredit training program to prepare students for the Certified Nursing Assistant Exam. Selected candidates must agree to and pass a criminal background check to be employed. At the time of application, applicants should be prepared to upload a cover letter, resume/CV, references list, statement of teaching philosophy, & an unofficial transcript.
Responsibilities:
Attend meetings as required.
Supervise CNA clinical experiences.
Be prompt and on time according to schedule.
Adhering to established protocols and procedures.
Work as a team for the best delivery of student services.
Provide lecture and hands-on instruction for CNA students.
Manage supplies and inventory in a fiscally responsible way.
Collaborate with other professional members of the interdisciplinary team including employer partner.
Complete all required paperwork, including but not limited to attendance records, grade sheets, and mid and end of semester reports.

Special Conditions
The ideal candidate will serve in both roles (Instructor and Program Coordinator), and the contract rate for one person fulfilling both roles is $5,000 per 10-week cohort. Contract rate and responsibilities split between two individuals will be adjusted accordingly.
