Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Management Tools Engineer to help us ensure the overall health and modernization of our servers and endpoints. This position will work to provide solutions to our Windows OS, VDI, and Azure environments through standardization of application tools, software packaging, patch management, risk mitigation, vulnerability management, and innovative cloud-based and mobile solutions. Provides advanced scripting of solutions to common manual tasks to create efficiencies across the environment. Responsibilities for this position also include troubleshooting and resolving complex, high-level problems that require depth of technical knowledge across servers, endpoints, and applications.

The candidate must have a strong working knowledge of:

  • SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), including deployment and troubleshooting
  • Collection groups of SCCM environment
  • Experience in designing and implementing SCCM automation processes
  • Microsoft Intune:
  • Have hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for mobile, Windows device and application management.
  • The candidate should have knowledge of planning, deploying, and managing applications and devices using Intune.
  • Active Directory/Azure Active Directory (AD):
  • Strong Knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD
  • Understanding of user and group management
  • Group Policy understanding and management
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management in a hybrid environment

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and six years of relevant experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    • Understanding of distributed systems architecture and general knowledge of multiple technical disciplines
    • Understanding of software development life cycle and various components that make up the software pipeline
    • Advanced Scripting skills, including Python, Powershell, VRO (VRealize Orchestrator), and Ansible
    • Understanding of a variety of current network and security protocols
    • Ability to quickly shift between OS platforms and automation and management platforms
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) designation
    • Strong Knowledge of VMWare and Azure
    • Understanding of applicable business unit functions, processes and cross-group dependencies and relationships
    • Knowledge of standard business practices, products, and services of the healthcare industry
