Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree and two or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience. Grade ND. Wage minimum: $14.75/hr.
Preferred Qualifications- Two years related experience in research or clinical trials.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant.
Under the direction of the BCC Clinical Trial Office leadership and in collaboration with a Research Nurse (RN) or Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC), the Clinical Trial Coordinator (CTC) assists in the coordination of daily activities related to the conduct of oncology clinical trials. The CTC assists with screening of potential patients, preparation and maintenance of research records, data collection, specimen processing and scheduling of research procedures. The CTC interacts with study participants in person or by telephone for follow up visits and simple assessment. Principal duties involve obtaining information for completing case report forms, resolving queries and processing specimens. The CTC is expected to attend multi-disciplinary clinics, conferences, workshops, and other learning opportunities in order to stay informed in the relevant areas and maintain competency in coordinating clinical research studies.
