The University of Idaho's Department of Movement Sciences and the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences are pleased to announce the availability of a 9-month, promotable, clinical assistant professor position in Exercise, Sport, and Health Sciences (ESHS) with a focus on health promotion. We are interested in candidates who view health holistically and complementary to physical activity, fitness, and human performance. Candidates with graduate training, expertise, and/or experience in physical activity and health, community health, and/or public health will be highly valued as we aim to recruit a dynamic educator to teach and develop undergraduate courses in health sciences. Expectations of the position also include mentoring, service, and scholarly outreach for the program, department, and university. The ideal candidate is also expected to foster collaborations across the university, and Idaho agencies and communities.
