In this per diem Clinical Social Worker role at our award-winning Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, you will provide direct care to patients hospitalized with psychiatric illness within our Inpatient Psychiatry Units and with patients receiving outpatient treatment within our Partial Hospitalization Programs. 

The Clinical Social Worker:

• Works with an interdisciplinary team in a hospital fast-paced setting to plan for patient’s safe discharge to community. 
• Provides assessment and meaningful treatment planning by collaborating with patients and families; assesses for suicide risk and safety concerns such as child or dependent adult abuse.
• Promptly and appropriately reports child, dependent adult, or elder abuse & neglect.
• Facilitates group psychotherapy using evidence based treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, and ACT.  
• Performs discharge planning; engage patients and families in safety planning, collaborate with outpatient community providers, utilize knowledge of community resources to plan complex discharges.
