The Clinical Research Coordinator will conduct investigator initiated clinical trial visits in conjunction with the study team. Primary duties include collaborating with the investigators and conducting research visits per protocol and scheduling study related tests and services. The Clinical Research Coordinator will assist the Clinical Trial Manager in various coordinating trial activities including regulatory monitoring, review of clinical medical records, and eligibility.



Job Summary

Prepares grant applications, manuscripts, Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications, research papers, and assists with complex research papers. Audits research studies, monitors study budgets, resolves complex data collection issues, and implements protocol-specific study recruitment plans. Trains staff and oversees student workers; leads team meetings. Monitors study budgets and orders supplies.


Essential Functions 

• Plans, coordinates, and manages all activities pertinent to the specific clinical trials.
• Conducting study visits, including vital signs, telemedicine, and blood draw and processing. Includes the collection, labeling, storage, and transport of all specimens.
• Review outside medical records to determine if preliminary inclusion and exclusion criteria are met.
• Support the Clinical Trial Manager as requested on other trial related tasks as needed.


Physical Effort 

Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
