Clinical Research Coordinator

We are a multidisciplinary team of Cardiologists and Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician-scientists who study cardiovascular health risks after complicated pregnancies, specifically hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. We are conducting studies developing interventions to improve short and long term maternal morbidity after a hypertensive disorder of pregnancy that include cardiac imaging studies and small clinical trials. o Assisting with conducting clinical research studies. o Recruiting and consenting study participants. o Running and collecting data at study visits. o Managing IRB applications and databases. o Working with a dynamic team that partners with women of diverse backgrounds to understand their health and risk for disease.

 

Job Summary

Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Recruits research subjects and conducts interviews and research assessments.


Essential Functions 

Excellent communication skills and an ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals.


Physical Effort 

Must be able to move around the university and offices of the research center. Walking, bending, periods of standing.
