Job Overview

The Clinical Research Coordinator I supports a variety of activities in support of clinical research studies.

They implement assigned portfolio of studies, which may include but is not limited to IRB applications and related forms, data collection forms, patient screening and enrollment, verification of investigative procedures to accomplish research goals, and preparation of reports.

As well, they comply with institutional policies regarding data management and usage of OnCore Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) as applicable.

Work Interactions

Working under the direct supervision of the Manager and/or Principal Investigator, the Clinical Research Coordinator I assists in study-related activities, and interacts directly with patients and research participants.

They are responsible for direct communication with the research Team, Sponsor and /or Clinical Research Organization (CRO) managing the research study, as well as all regulatory boards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field
  • At least 2 years of applicable experience
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and other basic computer applications
  • Experience working with FDA, NCI, OHRP regulations and ICH GCPS
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems

Preferred qualification

Experience with OnCore and/or other data management systems
