Summary

The Michigan Medicine Anesthesiology Department is seeking an experienced, positive, highly motivated, organized, and autonomous individual with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills to join our growing research team. This position will work with principal investigators and other research team members to accurately and efficiently carry out a range of tasks associated with a variety of research studies. This position will provide study coordination for multiple clinical research studies of any complexity. The characteristic duties and responsibilities of this position may evolve over time to match changing needs and priorities.

This position provides study coordination for multiple clinical research studies of any complexity and in multiple patient care settings. This position develops new processes, procedures, tools, and training to enhance clinical research activities across the competency domains and conducts quality assurance/quality control checks on the work of others. This position continues to build on their competency foundation by making greater investments in their ongoing continuing education and professional development. Key behavioral competency descriptors include design, develop, evaluate, lead, guide, mentor, and support.

This clinical research coordinator (CRC) position will support the multiple clinical research studies. Coordinator experience and mastery of all job duties from the CRC-Technician position on the Michigan Medicine CRC Career Ladder is required.

This role will support Trajectories of Recovery after Intravenous propofol vs. inhaled VolatilE anesthesia (THRIVE), HSK3486-309, and TAK-925-1501 Trials.

THRIVE is a prospective, multi-center, observational study combining data from patients surveys, EHR, and wearable devices.

HSK3486-309 is a global, multi-center, phase 3, double blinded RCT comparing the pain of injection of a commonly used medication to an investigational product.

TAK-925-1501 is a multi-center, phase 2a, placebo controlled, double blind RCT looking at the effects of the investigational product on obstructive sleep apnea patients during emergence from general anesthesia.
