The Department of Psychology, within the College of Arts & Sciences, is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator reporting to Dr. Brian Doss. The Research Support Specialist serves as a project coordinator for the OurRelationship project, a nationwide web- and app-based service to help couples struggling with relationship problems.  The project has been ongoing since 2010 and has served over 10,000 couples.  In 2020-2025, the project is providing online relationship services to low-income couples and couples in which one or both partners are veterans or active duty service members.

The Coordinator will serve as the central hub for various operational, personnel, programmatic, and financial matters for the project. Specifically, the project coordinator will serve as the initial point of contact for outside vendors, collect fiscal records and invoices, submit reimbursements to the University, and work with the financial officer for hiring and vendorization procedures.  The Specialist will also be responsible for updating progress reports to the funder, helping ensure compliance with IRB-approved protocols, and collaborating with agencies locally and nationwide.  Finally, the Specialist will assist the participant coordinator with supervising a team of undergraduate students and take on time-limited projects as necessary – often in coordination with outside vendors.

Successful candidates will possess an ability to relate and communicate with diverse population and groups, as well as multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure while being resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise. Opportunities to publish and present at professional conferences will be encouraged. The primary work location of this position is on the Gables campus in the Department of Psychology.
