Job Description
Clinical Research Assistant to provide support to the Clinical Trials Office within the Comprehensive Cancer Center; reviews medical records and assists with data extraction, entry, and submission; assists with scheduling and conducting monitoring visits and query resolution; requests medical records and images; responds to inquiries from study participants; assists with bio-specimen processing; assists with tissue requests; schedules patients for research appointments; performs other duties as assigned by project leader or management.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in general biology, or an equivalent combination of education & experience required; experience in a clinical research capacity or setting desired; experience with collection, analysis and management of clinical research data desired; human subjects training and experience in a clinical and/or research setting working with patients desired; computer skills required with experience utilizing Microsoft software applications desired; considerable experience utilizing database applications desired. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
