CLINICAL OFFICE SERVICES SPECIALIST I (HUNTSVILLE, AL) - (T239211)
Description
Under direct supervision, performs of a variety of routine clerical duties in support of office operations. Selects the correct process from several clearly prescribed steps. Duties may consist of data entry, posting information to logs, typing labels and forms, maintaining filing systems, answering phones, greeting the public, copying material, delivering/tracking documents, monitoring inventory, ordering supplies and other clerical duties of a non-complex nature.
This position supports the clinical and general office purchasing and procurement process for the UAB Huntsville Campus.
Duties include: preparing payment requests and purchase orders; tracking and resolving issues with purchasing; collecting data to assist in generating charges to departments.
Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.50
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required.
Preferred:
Hard Skills: clerical/administrative support experience; data entry
Soft Skills: attention to detail; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to multi-task
