Position Summary | The Department of OBGYN-Maternal Fetal Medicine invites applications for a temporary/per diem fixed term faculty position. Responsibilities of an MFM attending include: (1) caring for Maternal Fetal Medicine patients as scheduled on outpatient templates, inpatient antepartum service, or ultrasound imaging template. (2) If serving as the MFM L&D attending, caring for antepartum, laboring, or postpartum patients. (3) Completion of documentation that is required for the patient care described above. (4) supervision of MFM fellows or residents for all patient care described above. (5) Completing or supervising procedures that are within the scope of MFM including but not limited to amniocentesis, CVS, PUBS, vaginal delivery, operative vaginal delivery, cesarean section, external cephalic version. Selected candidate will only be paid for days that coverage is provided. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements | MD degree, completion of a 4-year ACGME approved OB-GYN residency and completion of a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | Prior experience in an academic medical setting. |
