Summary of Job Duties:

The clinical instructor will be responsible for teaching classes for the newly established minor in Outdoor Recreation Leadership in the Recreation and Sport Management program. Additionally, the clinical instructor will establish and cultivate relationships with outdoor agencies and community partners in order to develop a sustainable outdoor recreation leadership program.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Earned masters from an accredited institution in Outdoor Recreation or related filed conferred by the start of employment

  • Evidence of effective teaching

  • Evidence of outdoor leadership program development and administration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience at the collegiate level and/or

  • Instructor certifications in outdoor areas (biking, climbing, paddling, etc)
