Full Time Clinical Faculty Position

The Department of Nursing at USD invites applications for a full-time clinical faculty position at the Sioux Falls site.
This position will be 9 months, full-time. Salary and rank will be based on experience and credentials. This faculty position will be responsible for clinical instruction in a clinical setting for pre-licensure students. Responsibilities include oversight of students’ clinical reasoning and clinical performance assessment and evaluation of student learning, the ability to provide theory application to the clinical setting, and demonstration of excellent role modeling for students.
Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a current unencumbered license, eligible for licensure in South Dakota, and hold a a master’s degree in nursing from a nationally accredited program. Recent clinical experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain excellent collegial relationships with university and clinical agency staff.
