The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Clinical Education Specialist to join their team.
POSITION PURPOSE
This position will be the main contact for liaising with the Division of Physical Therapy, the Clinical Education Program’s contracted community partners, and working with students to ensure their engagement and progress through the Program. Clinical education experiences are incorporated throughout the DPT curriculum with most coming during the final stage of physical therapist training at the University of Washington. They provide the model for mentored patient/practitioner interaction prior to graduation and licensure.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work collaboratively with the Director of Clinical Education and the Integrated Clinical Experience Coordinator (10%)
