Essential Job Duties | The specific purpose of this position is to support clinical education by working with clinical faculty, house officers, and staff to identify and clarify rotation outcomes; ensure that rotation resources (sample documents, recommended references, learning objectives, schedules, SOPs, personnel names and roles, etc.) are current, accessible, and adhering to a common format; supporting clinical students through rotation orientation support, support and supervision during patient care activities, the provision of direct feedback on clinical skills, and training/remediation as needed for students who require support in completing clinical tasks. This position will work under the Director of Clinical Education and will be assigned to several clinical services that work in the Large Animal Hospital. This position will supplement and not replace the role of faculty, staff, and house officers in coordinating instruction and clinical case management on the rotation. This position will not be assigned to routine clinical duties apart from student support. Specific duties under each category are summarized below: Supervision of Clinical Rotations:

Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education | Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, or a Biological Science; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Some positions may require compliance with current Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) regulations. |
