The Physician Assistant Studies Program at the University of South Dakota is accepting applications for a Clinical Education Assistant who will provide professional and clerical support to the faculty, staff, and students of the PA Program.
This position is responsible for, but not limited to: providing quality customer service to clinical faculty, clinical site administration, students, program faculty and staff; management of student information required for clinical education; coordination of student regulatory and EMR training; precise data entry and support in maintaining databases; composing, editing and proofreading a variety of documents, including lengthy publications; assist in report preparation and analysis; management of Clinical Faculty appointment process for the program; work collaboratively with Clinical Coordinator and Clinical Education Specialist to streamline processes; and other duties as assigned.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: knowledge of business English, grammar, spelling, and punctuation; knowledge of modern office practices and equipment; ability to use computers and modern office software; ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form; ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to work independently; ability to maintain accurate records and data, both manual and electronic; ability to research and compile data; regular and reliable attendance; ability to act professionally with coworkers and the public; ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
