Job Description:
Required Qualifications:
  • Must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology in an APA approved psychology program by date of hire
  • Must have completed an APA approved psychology internship program by date of hire
  • Must be able to practice and obtain temporary license in the State of Kansas as a licensed psychologist by date of hire
  • Must be eligible to take the licensing exam as a T-LMLP through the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board during the first year of appointment


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in test administration and interpretation, report-writing, and development of evidence-based treatment plans
  • Completed basic graduate course in clinical psychology
  • Familiar with evidence-based treatments for children and adolescents


Job Duties Outlined:

This one-year fellowship will focus on assessment of psychological, cognitive, and neurodevelopmental conditions in childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood.

The successful candidate will have experience in test administration and interpretation, report-writing, and development of evidence-based treatment plans. Weekly supervision is provided consistent with statutory requirements as outlined by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board. By the end of the year, fellows will be eligible for licensure at the doctoral level in the state of Kansas, pending successful completion of the EPPP. Fellows will have opportunities to learn alongside child psychology and neuropsychology interns, neuropsychology fellows, medical students, psychiatry residents and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows.
