Summary
The Department of PM&R at University of Michigan seeks a physician scientist in the area of sports/musculoskeletal and spine medicine. The ideal candidate should have expertise and interest in pursuing musculoskeletal and spine care, including interventional procedures. The candidate will also have a research portfolio and an interest in a clinician scientist path.  The clinical and research areas will include chronic pain and bone disease and expertise in preclinical models to investigate the pathogenesis of neurogenic heterotopic ossification (NHO) and neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury. 
Required Qualifications*

The ideal candidate should have an MD or DO degree and postgraduate clinical training. They should hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical license in the State of Michigan as well as be board certified or board eligible.

This position is posted as Clinical Instructor and Clinical Assistant Professor. The rank of the selected candidate will depend upon candidate's qualifications.
