Clinical Associates - Pediatric Hospitalists #PED116

The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hospital Medicine, is seeking full-time pediatric hospitalists to join our expanding Pediatric Hospital Medicine group at Comer Children's Hospital. Appointees may have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement efforts in the Section of Hospital Medicine. Clinical opportunities include pediatric medicine, newborn care, ED consultation and community hospital coverage.  Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications. The positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity.

The Department of Pediatrics is committed to providing superior, compassionate healthcare to all children. The department includes more than 130 full-time faculty members, clinical associates, and postdoctoral researchers. UChicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital is a free standing 165 bed children's hospital with a full complement of pediatric services.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified or eligible in General Pediatrics, and 4) have completed an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program.
