Clinical Associate – Podiatrist #MED207b

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Adult and Pediatric Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, is seeking a full-time podiatric physician and surgeon for appointment as a Clinical Associate for a renewable term of up to two years.  The appointee will focus on diabetic foot care, wound healing, and limb salvage.  Clinical responsibilities will include in-patient consultation service as well as seeing outpatients at our on-site clinics in the Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine (DCAM) and at off-site locations, including our new state of the art Centers for Advanced Care in Orland Park, River East and/or South Loop in Chicago.  This position does not require teaching or scholarly activity.  Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board Certified or Eligible in Podiatry by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS).
