The University of Kansas Health System is actively seeking a full time Urgent Care physician to join the Department of Emergency Medicine, Division of Urgent Care.
There are two primary Kansas City clinic locations, KU MedWest (Shawnee, KS) and Medical Pavilion on the hospital campus (Kansas City, KS).
Job Description:

Required Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Must be board certified in specialty and licensed, or eligible for licensure, in Kansas and Missouri.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications: Board certified EM, FM, or IM/Peds encouraged to apply.

Job Duties:

  • Full spectrum urgent care to include some procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care, IV fluids, etc).
  • Onsite imaging and lab.
  • Clinics are open seven days per week and offer flexible scheduling options.
  • Participate in the professional education/supervision of residents in clinic.
