Position Summary

The University of Southern Indiana is accepting applications for Clinical Assistant Professor or Assistant Professor of Dental Assisting/Dental Hygiene.

The University of Southern Indiana College of Nursing and Health Professions seeks applications for a ten-month renewable clinical assistant professor or a tenure track assistant professor of Dental Assisting/Dental Hygiene.

This position begins on August 1, 2024, or when filled.

Duties/Responsibilities 

The individual in this position will assume didactic, laboratory, and clinical teaching responsibilities in the Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene Programs, as well as ongoing scholarly activity, academic advising, and University and community service.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Master’s degree, current DANB certification, and Indiana dental hygiene license in good standing.

About the Department

The faculty in the Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene Programs work collaboratively with faculty in other health professions programs.
